Here are five delicious ways to use flank steak:
-
Grilled Flank Steak Tacos: Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of lime juice, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and cilantro. Grill the steak to your desired doneness, then slice thinly against the grain. Serve the sliced steak in warm tortillas with your favorite taco toppings like salsa, avocado, onions, and cheese.
-
Stir-Fried Flank Steak with Vegetables: Cut the flank steak into thin strips against the grain. Stir-fry the steak strips with colorful bell peppers, onions, and broccoli in a hot wok or skillet. Season with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic for an Asian-inspired flavor. Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a quick and satisfying meal.
-
Flank Steak Salad: Grill or broil the flank steak until medium-rare, then let it rest before slicing thinly. Toss mixed greens with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and crumbled blue cheese. Arrange the sliced steak on top of the salad and drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette for a light and refreshing meal.
-
Flank Steak Fajitas: Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of lime juice, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, and olive oil. Grill or broil the steak until medium-rare, then let it rest before slicing thinly. Serve the sliced steak with sautéed onions and bell peppers in warm tortillas. Top with salsa, sour cream, and fresh cilantro for a Tex-Mex fiesta on your plate.
-
Korean BBQ Flank Steak: Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for at least 4 hours or overnight. Grill the steak until caramelized and cooked to your liking, then let it rest before slicing thinly. Serve the sliced steak with steamed rice, kimchi, and pickled vegetables for a flavorful and satisfying Korean-inspired meal.
